Healthy Sounds Programme
2010-11

Healthy Sounds! is a partnership between the Welsh Assembly Government and Tŷ Cerdd – Music Centre Wales.

  • The scheme encourages performances in publically-funded health-care centres – i.e. hospitals and other centres where there is nursing care provided by the NHS – by local community amateur music societies, including school ensembles.  Performances normally take place in the larger public areas of the building, but this will be advised by the hospital or care centre.

  • No payment can be made to an individual musician, but a donation of £100 or £200 plus expenses payable to the performing society may be claimed for each performance.

  • An ensemble from the society consisting of 6 or fewer performers will receive a donation of £100. All other ensembles will receive £200.

  • No extra payment can be made for a repeat performance in the same health-care centre on the same day.

  • All ensembles: a limit of up to 5 performances (for which a donation is payable) within the period April 2010 – March 2011, after which any further request for funding will be reviewed in the light of available funding. (This gives us the option of allowing further performances should funds allow.)

  • Performing ensembles are responsible for negotiating the time and place of performance with the local hospital/health-care centre, and should send the completed application form to Ty Cerdd at least four weeks (ideally, but this is flexible as the form requires a signature from a representative member of staff at the hospital/health-care centre) in advance of the proposed performance.

  • Once the proposal has been approved by Tŷ Cerdd a claim form will be sent (to be endorsed by a representative of the hospital/health-care centre) to the society for completion and return after the performance has taken place.

  • Within these criteria, donations can only be made up to the limit of available funds, so that applications will continue to be considered on a “first come – first served” basis until the funding is exhausted.

    Rhaglen Synau Iachus
    2010-11

Mae Synau Iachus! yn bartneriaeth rhwng Tŷ Cerdd (Ffederasiwn Cerddoriaeth Amatur Cymru) a Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru.

  • Mae’r cynllun yn annog perfformiadau mewn canolfannau iechyd a ariannwyd yn gyhoeddus – e.e. ysbytai, a chanolfannau eraill ble y darparwyd gofal nyrsio gan GIC – gan gymdeithasau cymunedol cerddoriaeth amatur, yn cynnwys ensemblau ysgol.  Cynhalir y perfformiadau fel arfer ym mannau mwyaf, cyhoeddus yr adeilad, ond fe fydd yr ysbyty neu ganolfan gofal yn cynghori yngltŷn a hyn.

  • Cynigir rhodd o £100 neu £200 fesyl perfformiad i’r gymdeithas perfformio, yn ogystal â chostau. Ni wneir taliad i gerddor unigol.

  • Caiff ensemble o’r gymdeithas, yn cynnwys 6 neu lai o berfformwyr, daliad o £100. Caiff pob ensemble arall £200.

  • Ni fydd taliadau ychwanegol am ail berfformiad yn yr un Canolfan iechyd ar yr un diwrnod.

  • Pob ensemble: Mae terfyn hyd at 5 perfformiad (ble ceir rhodd) o fewn y cyfnod, Ebrill 2010 – Mawrth 2011; ar ôl hynny adolygir unrhyw gais pellach yng ngoleuni y cyllid sydd ar gael. (Rhoddir hyn y dewis i ni ariannu mwy o berfformiadau os yn bosib.)

  • Mae’r ensemblau sy’n perfformio yn gyfrifol am drefnu amser a dyddiad perfformiadau gyda’r ysbytai/ canolfannau iechyd lleol. Dylent anfon y ffurflen gais wedi ei chwblhau at Tŷ Cerdd o leiaf pedair wythnos (yn ddelfrydol, ond mae hwn yn hyblyg gan fod y ffurflen yn gofyn am lofnod oddi wrth aelod staff yr ysbyty/Canolfan iechyd) o flaen dyddiad y perfformiad.

  • Wedi i ni dderbyn y cais, fe anfonwn ffurflen arall wedyn, i’w chwblhau ar ôl y perfformiad (wedi ei ardystio gan gynrychiolydd yr ysbyty neu ganolfan gofal).

  • O fewn y meini prawf hyn, cyfyngir rhoddion gan gyfanswm yr arian sydd ar gael, fel y bydd ceisiadau yn parhau i gael eu ystyried ar sail “cyntaf i’r felin gaiff falu” tan defnyddir yr arian i gyd.
