Bursaries available for Classical:NEXT, May 2022
Classical:NEXT is the largest global gathering of professionals working in classical music and connected genres. The event takes place this year in Hannover (Germany) from 17 to 20 May, and Tŷ Cerdd (with support from Arts Council of Wales) is offering 6 bursaries to support organisations and artists to attend as delegates.
At Classical:NEXT over 1,000 professionals from across the international industry – composers/music-creators, performers, ensembles, managers, presenters, record companies, publishers, media, educators and more – gather for:
-
interactive conference
-
showcase concerts
-
expo
-
networking
Tŷ Cerdd – Music Centre Wales, will be managing the Welsh presence at the event – including a Cymru/Wales stand at the expo – and invites interested composers/music-creators, performers and organisations to apply.
For any organisations or artists wanting to find out more about Classical:NEXT and the opportunities it offers, and about the bursaries we’re offering, we’re holding a Zoom session on Tuesday 8 March @ 1600.
Naomi Belshaw (music professional and seasoned Classical:NEXT delegate) will talk about the event, and there’ll be time for Q&A and discussion. Register here!
