Following funding awards from Arts Council of Wales, PRS Foundation and RVW Trust, Tŷ Cerdd announces the next iteration of CoDi, its ongoing initiative supporting the development of composers and music-creators.
The latest programme features:

CoDi Lead – disabled-led chamber music pathway for 6 composers, working with 5 disabled artists
CoDI Mentors - artist programme of mentoring for Welsh music-creators
CoDi Off-Grid – extending and developing this nationwide network of sound-artists and music-creators working in unconventional music-practice: artists’ database, regular events, and a new strand of podcasts
CoDi Interact – a central strand of composer support forms the backbone of CoDi, with in-person and online workshops, sharing of information and networking
Call to Welsh* music-creators
*if you’re based in Wales (and have been for at least a year), and you’re making original music, you’re a Welsh music-creator!
The programme kicks off with a call to artists for the two creative pathways, with a deadline of Friday 10 December:
During two periods of artistic retreat, 6 lead artists from Wales and beyond – bringing with them range of genres, backgrounds and lived experience – support 8 participating music-creators to explore their own artistic practice through collaboration. MORE INFO
