Update on rehearsing in Wales under current Coronavirus restrictions,
September 2021

From August 7 2021, there are no legal limits in Wales on the number of people who can meet, including in private homes, public places or at events.

However, the Welsh Government has kept a number of legal requirements to help reduce the spread of the virus and help protect the most vulnerable. Organisations, including event and activity organisers, have a duty to protect those taking part.

If you have previously re-started activity, you should already have carried out a risk assessment and be aware of the measures you need to put in place to rehearse and perform safely. If you haven’t already done so, you must undertake a coronavirus risk assessment of your activities and take reasonable measures to minimise exposure to, and the spread of, coronavirus based on that risk assessment. Face masks remain a legal requirement indoors.

The Welsh Government guidance Alert level 0: guidance for employers, businesses and organisations sets out issues you should consider and controls you could put in place to minimize the risk of spreading coronavirus.

A sample risk assessment can be found HERE
