Update on rehearsing in Wales under current Coronavirus restrictions, July 2021

As Wales moves to Coronavirus Alert Level 1, there are changes to restrictions which may affect your music group.

From 17 July:

  • the legal restrictions on the number of people who can gather outdoors has been removed, and

  • organised indoor events for up to 1,000 seated or 200 standing can take place, subject to a risk assessment and taking reasonable measures. This does not include events in private dwellings.

Maximum numbers for indoor events should be determined by a risk assessment which includes taking reasonable measures to minimise the risk of exposure to and spread of coronavirus. Reasonable measures must also include ensuring social distancing can be maintained between individual households or groups of six (in line with other current restrictions).

It is your organisation's responsibility to adhere to all relevant guidance and legislation. We would urge you to read all the guidance in their entirety before planning any activity. This includes the Welsh Government's Current Restrictions and the Rehearsal, Performing and Taking Part guidance.

If you are intending to rehearse or perform, please complete your own risk assessment to ensure all reasonable measures are taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus.  A sample risk assessment can be found HERE

Y wybodaeth ddiweddaraf ar ymarfer yng Nghymru o dan gyfyngiadau cyfredol coronafeirws, Gorffennaf 2021

Wrth i Gymru symud i Lefel Rhybudd 1 y Coronafeirws, mae yna newidiadau i gyfyngiadau a allai effeithio ar eich grŵp cerdd.

O 17 Gorffennaf:

  • mae’r cyfyngiadau cyfreithiol ar nifer y bobl sy’n gallu ymgynnull yn yr awyr agored wedi’u dileu, a

  • gellir cynnal digwyddiadau dan do wedi’u trefnu ar gyfer hyd at 1,000 yn eistedd neu 200 yn sefyll, yn amodol ar asesiad risg a chymryd mesurau rhesymol. Nid yw hyn yn cynnwys digwyddiadau mewn anheddau preifat.

Dylai asesiad risg bennu’r nifer uchaf o bobl mewn digwyddiad dan do, a dylai gynnwys cymryd mesurau rhesymol i leihau’r risg o ddod i gysylltiad â choronafeirws a’i ledaenu. Rhaid i fesurau rhesymol hefyd gynnwys sicrhau y gellir cadw pellter cymdeithasol rhwng aelwydydd unigol neu grwpiau o chwech (yn unol â chyfyngiadau cyfredol eraill).

Cyfrifoldeb eich sefydliad yw cadw at yr holl ganllawiau a deddfwriaeth berthnasol. Byddem yn eich annog i ddarllen yr holl ganllawiau yn eu cyfanrwydd cyn cynllunio unrhyw weithgaredd. Mae hyn yn cynnwys Cyfyngiadau Cyfredol chanllawiau Ymarfer, Perfformio a Chymryd Rhan Llywodraeth Cymru.

Os ydych yn bwriadu ymarfer neu berfformio, cwblhewch eich asesiad risg eich hun i sicrhau bod pob mesur rhesymol wedi’i gymryd i atal lledaeniad coronafeirws. Mae asesiad risg enghreifftiol i’w gael YMA
