Building on the Site and Sound Symposium, Base Frequencies is a three-day creative lab designed as a collaborative, peer-to-peer space for practitioners and theorists to exchange practices and skills in outdoor sound. Participants will have access to the state-of-the-art creation and fabrication facilities at 101 Outdoor Arts, in partnership with PTEQ. Additionally, the programme offers opportunities to engage with diverse sites across natural and built environments.
The event will be fully catered and accommodation for up to 15 people is provided onsite. Beyond this participants will need to find their own accommodation locally. Please indicate whether you require accommodation. Attendance is required for the full three days.
Developed by Oxford Contemporary Music, 101 Outdoor Arts and The Centre for Performance, Technology and Equity (PTEQ) at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
