In this special collaboration with RWCMD jazz students, celebrated musicians Huw Warren (piano) & Angharad Jenkins (voice/violin) celebrate the release of their debut album, Calennig on the Sienco label. Together, they have been exploring and bringing their own unique flavours to ancient Welsh Plygain Carols, and other traditional music. Calennig is a New Year’s gift, symbolising hope and new beginnings. There is a timeless beauty to Huw and Angharad’s arrangements, and a compelling mix of nostalgia and hope for the future.
