The English Folk Dance & Song Society recently launched another year of its Alan James Creative Bursary:Residency and Research bursary programme. It is open to any music artists who wishes to undertake research and development into a new creative project rooted in folk and traditional music.
There are 2 bursaries worth up to £2000 plus studio space at its venue in London, and 2 research bursaries of £500.
