The Trust is a living tribute to Sir Winston, whose life and example is the inspiration. Travelling Fellowships are available to enable British citizens (within the meaning of the British Nationality Act 1981) to acquire knowledge and experience abroad. Each year the Council of the Trust selects 10-12 different categories, within which specific project applications may be submitted. Churchill Fellows can be of any age, background or occupation. However, the Fellowship scheme does not cover the costs of courses, academic studies, student grants or gap year projects. Full details and application forms are available on the website.
