The Vale of Glamorgan Brass Band has been entertaining the public in the Vale for nearly 50 years. A key part of our annual programme used to be playing afternoon concerts at the various bandstands in the Vale. For a variety of reasons, not least Covid, we have not been able to continue with these concerts – until now.
We are delighted to announce that through the generous funding of Ty Cerdd the Band will be hosting a series of 8 Sunday afternoon concerts at the Bandstand on Barry Island. Bands from Championship Section to Community Bands and everything in between will be playing a range of traditional and popular music for your entertainment.
Starting at 2pm the FREE concerts will feature:

13th August 2023 Markham and District Brass Band
