WOMEX 2022 BURSARIES

WOMEX – Worldwide Music Expo – is the largest gathering of the global music scene, featuring a trade fair, conference, and a programme of showcase concerts. The event takes place this year in Lisbon (Portugal) from 19 to 23 October, and Tŷ Cerdd (with support from Wales Arts International) is offering bursaries to support organisations and individuals to attend as delegates.

Tŷ Cerdd, Trac Cymru and Wales Arts International will be managing the Welsh presence at the event – including a Cymru/Wales stand at the expo under the Horizons brand UK & Ireland.

For any organisations or artists wanting to find out more about WOMEX, the opportunities it offers and the bursaries we’re offering, we’re holding a Zoom session on Tuesday 19 July @ 17:00. Tumi Williams (musician; artist-manager), Eluned Haf (Director of WAI), Danny KilBride (Director of Trac Cymru)  and Deborah Keyser (Director of Tŷ Cerdd) will talk about the event and there’ll be time for Q&A and discussion.
