WOMEX 2023 BURSARIES
WOMEX – Worldwide Music Expo – is the largest gathering of the global music scene, featuring a trade fair, conference, and a programme of showcase concerts. The event takes place this year in A Coruña (Galicia, Spain) from 25 to 29 October, and Tŷ Cerdd (with support from Wales Arts International) is offering bursaries to support 4 organisations and 4 individuals to attend as delegates.
Tŷ Cerdd (Music Centre Wales) and Wales Arts International will be managing the Welsh presence at the event – including a Cymru/Wales stand at the expo under the Horizons brand UK & Ireland.
For any organisations or artists wanting to find out more about WOMEX, the opportunities it offers and the bursaries we’re offering, we’re holding a Zoom session on Tuesday 11 July @ 17:00. Eluned Haf (Director of WAI), Danny KilBride (Director of Trac Cymru), Gareth Churchill (music-creator), Jeferson Lobo (music-creator) and Deborah Keyser (Director of Tŷ Cerdd) will talk about the event and there’ll be time for your Q&As.
