Cyhoeddiadau TÅ· Cerdd
Publications

Mae TÅ· Cerdd wedi bod yn cyhoeddi cerddoriaeth daflen Gymraeg ers 2015. Mae'r broses o olygu cerddoriaeth o lawysgrifau gwreiddiol - mae llawer yn cael eu cadw mewn casgliadau sy'n perthyn i'r Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru a'r Brifysgol Caerdydd - yn un trylwyr, gan sicrhau cynrychiolaeth fwyaf cywir bwriadau'r cyfansoddwr. Mae'r cyfansoddwyr a gyhoeddwyd hyd yn hyn yn cynnwys William Mathias, Grace Williams, Morfydd Owen a Joseph Parry. Mae TÅ· Cerdd hefyd yn cyhoeddi gwaith gan gyfansoddwyr byw megis Rhian Samuel, Gareth Wood, Tom Davoren a Jeffrey Howard, eto gyda sylw golygyddol uchel i fanylion er mwyn sicrhau sgoriau terfynol o'r ansawdd uchaf.

Yn ogystal â hyn, mae TÅ· Cerdd ac S4C yn cyd-weithio er mwyn darparu mynediad at daflenni cerddoriaeth werthfawr catalog Hughes a’i Fab sy’n gynnwys llawer iawn o hoff ganeuon yr iaith Gymraeg. Yn eu plith ydy Gwahoddiad (trefniant TTBB gan John Tudor Davies, sy'n cael ei ystyried yn glasur); Cân yr Arad Goch (Idris Lewis); Aderyn Crist (Dilys Elwyn-Edwards); Cwm Pennant, Gwynfyd, Y Llyn (Meirion Williams), ynghyd â channoedd yn rhagor, yn cynnwys darnau gan gyfansoddwyr arwyddocaol megis Joseph Parry, R. S. Hughes, ac W. S. Gwynn Williams.

ENGLISH

TÅ· Cerdd has been publishing Welsh sheet music since 2015. The process of editing music from original manuscripts – many held in collections belonging to the National Library of Wales and Cardiff University – is a rigorous one, ensuring the most accurate representation of the composer’s intentions. Composers we have published so far include William Mathias, Grace Williams, Morfydd Owen, and Joseph Parry. TÅ· Cerdd also publish work by living composers and arrangers, such as Rhian Samuel, Gareth Wood, Tom Davoren and Jeffrey Howard, again with a high editorial attention to detail to ensure final scores of the highest quality.

In addition to this, TÅ· Cerdd and S4C have joined forces to provide access, for the first time in decades, to the valuable Hughes and Son sheet music catalogue which contains many favourite tunes of the Welsh repertoire. Among them are Gwahoddiad (in its classic TTBB arrangement by John Tudor Davies); Cân yr Arad Goch (Idris Lewis); Aderyn Crist (Dilys Elwyn-Edwards); Cwm Pennant, Gwynfyd, Y Llyn (Meirion Williams), as well as hundreds more, including pieces by significant composers such as Joseph Parry, R. S. Hughes, and W. S. Gwynn Williams.
