March 2024 saw the culmination of our CoDi Composers Studio pathway, in collaboration with UPROAR ensemble and conductor Michael Rafferty – a day of workshopping/recording new works written over a six-month period under the mentorship of Lynne Plowman and Richard Baker.

 

The guidance from exceptional composers and performers provided a potent development experience for the participants, and the music produced was exceptional.  We hope to share the resulting pieces – by Eluned Davies, Jake Thorpe, Joseph Graydon, Luciano Williamson, Niamh O’Donnell and Tayla-Leigh Payne – on our Soundcloud in the near future.

Ym mis Mawrth 2024 daeth ein llwybr Stiwdio Cyfansoddwyr CoDi i ben, mewn cydweithrediad ag ensemble UPROAR a’r arweinydd Michael Rafferty – diwrnod o weithdai/recordio gweithiau newydd a ysgrifennwyd dros gyfnod o chwe mis dan fentoriaeth Lynne Plowman a Richard Baker.

Derbyniodd y cyfranogwyr arweiniad eithriadol gan y mentoriaid a’r perfformwyr ac roedd y gerddoriaeth a ddeilliodd o hynny yn eithriadol. Gobeithiwn rannu’r darnau canlyniadol – gan Eluned Davies, Jake Thorpe, Joseph Graydon, Luciano Williamson, Niamh O’Donnell a Tayla-Leigh Payne – ar ein Soundcloud yn y dyfodol agos.
