Yn wreiddiol o Gaernarfon ac erbyn hyn yn byw yn Llanfair-pwll, artist dwyieithog yw Sarah Zyborska y mae ei cherddoriaeth yn cynnwys elfennau o’r gwerinol, Americana a phop. Fel SERA roedd yn un o artistiaid Gorwelion y BBC yn 2019/20 ac ymhlith uchafbwyntiau ei gwaith perfformio mae BBC Maida Vale, How the Light Gets In, Gŵyl Cymru Gogledd America a Festival Interceltique de Lorient.

 

Bydd Sarah i’w chlywed ar restrau chwarae BBC Radio Wales a Radio Cymru yn rheolaidd ac mae wedi derbyn cefnogaeth gan 6 Music a Radio 2. Mae hi’n rhedeg label a phrosiect cerddoriaeth cymunedol o’r enw CEG Music ochr yn ochr â gwahanol fentrau creadigol/cyfryngol eraill, ac yn ystod 2020 fe ryddhaodd ei chweched halbwm, When I Wake Up.

 

Ynghynt mae Sarah wedi perfformio o dan yr enw Sarah Louise gyda Recordiau Sain ac mae’n aelod o fand Americana gyda merched ar y blaen, Tapestri, a fydd yn chwarae ar y prif lwyfan yng Ngŵyl Werin Caergrawnt yn 2022 ac mewn prosiect caneuon natur Cymraeg, Eve a Sera.

Originally from Caernarfon and now living in Llanfairpwll, Sarah Zyborska is a bilingual artist whose music has elements of folk, Americana and pop. As SERA, she was a BBC Horizons artist in 2019/20 and her performance highlights include BBC Maida Vale, How the Light Gets In, North American Festival of Wales and Festival interceltique de Lorient.

 

Sarah is regularly playlisted on BBC Radio Wales and Radio Cymru and has had received support from 6 Music and Radio 2. She runs a label and community music project as CEG Music alongside various other creative/media ventures, and during 2020 released her sixth album, When I Wake Up.

 

Sarah has previously performed under the name Sarah Louise with Sain Records and is a member of a female-fronted Americana band Tapestri which will be playing the main stage at Cambridge Folk Festival in 2022, and in a Welsh language nature-songs project, Eve & Sera.
