Kirsten is an undergraduate composition student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She balances her compositional endeavours with work as a singer, performing around the UK premiering new contemporary works, alongside working as a session vocalist. Recent projects include work as a composer and vocalist in collaboration with Turner Prize Nominee James Richards on Migratory Motor Complex for the Venice Biennale 2017, as well as involvement in the BBC scheme ‘It’s My Shout’, composing music for a new short film to be shown on BBC 4. In the future Kirsten looks to continue her work as both a vocalist and composer, combing her skills to fit into a variety of settings.
