Christian works fulltime as a composer, arranger and writer on contemporary music. 

 

As a composer his works have appeared on BBC television and radio and been performed by the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh Symphonic Brass and others. Recent performances include choral works for St. James’s Church, Sussex Gardens; Lyra Davidica, which was performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales; and Djemaa el Fna with BBC National Orchestra of Wales trumpets and friends. Of the last piece Rian Evan wrote in the Guardian: ‘As a trumpeter himself, performing in this premiere, Morris’s sympathy for his medium was manifest….[the] final accumulation realised a vivid climax.’
