Over the last decade, Christopher has established himself as a leading composer for brass and has worked with many of the world's finest ensembles. Since 2015, he has been the Composer in Residence of Cory Band and has also received commissions form Brighouse & Rastrick, Grimethorpe, Leyland and Flowers Bands. His music has been broadcast on BBC Radio 2, 3, 4 and Classic FM. 

Christopher's test pieces have been set at the UK Regional Championships, National Youth Championships of Great Britain and West of England Bandsman's Festival. His work has been performed throughout Europe and in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan, Canada, and the USA.

Increasingly in demand as an adjudicator, Christopher has served on panels for BBC Young Musician, the National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, UniBrass, Whit Friday Marches, and Cory Band's Annual Composition Prize.
