Natalie Roe 1999

Natalie Roe is a composer, flautist and pianist based in Cardiff where she studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She is in her second year studying under Mark David Boden and Dr. Owen Lloyd where she explores notational and acousmatic styles of music. Natalie has had music performed by The Berkeley Ensemble, members of the London Sinfonietta, NewCelf Fluxfest and the Prestige 6 Orchestra. Furthermore, Natalie is the composer and sound designer for The Royal Court Theatre’s ‘NEW: 2020’ play ‘Half Full’. Natalie also has wide musical experience in the West Midlands, where she grew up, including a premier of her orchestral piece performed at the Warwick Arts Centre as well as being Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s ‘Young Composer’s Project’ Composer in Residence. Natalie performs around Cardiff as part of the Roewaters Collaboration where she co-writes and performs jazz influenced music for their ensemble.
