The object of this Fund is to assist students in keeping up with their course of study, training or research, in cases where this is seriously impeded by the effects of illness, disease, injury or physical infirmity. Applicants must be aged 18 or over and be wholly or mainly engaged in a course of study, training or research, at a university or other recognised institution of higher education in the UK. Grants of up to £500 are available for a specific purpose, related to disability in an educational setting. These may not be used for the payment of fees or for general living expenses.
