Rebecca Horrox 1980 

Rebecca Horrox has been presenting multi-channel compositions cross-mediating sound, performance, and visual art since 2007. She uses sound, poetry and myth to cross disciplines of performance, installation and sculpture exploring personal realms of consciousness, dream-states and surrealist texts. Her most recent work unites nature and culture such as her river serenade from canoes at the Wye Valley AONB, a geo-locative opera walk around Lake Idwal in Snowdonia and a multi-channel sound design for a chateau garden in Provence, France.


Her solo work has been presented by the like of Barbican Centre, Arnolfini, Watermans and Spill London. She is a vocalist and performer with CandyShop, Wet Sounds London, and Moon Seer at many national and international venues such as at Kunsthalle Praha, Queen Elizabeth Hall London, Centro de Arte Dos De Mayo Madrid, Borealis Festival Norway, Fiac! Paris, Glasgow Film Festival and SuperSonic.
