Trevor Roberts studied with Hubert Davies and David Wynne at the Welsh College of Music & Drama and with Witold Lutoslawski at the Dartington Summer School in 1964. His music career included spells as a répétiteur with Welsh National Opera and piano teacher at Cardiff University.

 

Trevor's commissioned works include Idyll for choir and orchestra which was premiered at the 1975 Fishguard Festival, Cofio Dewi, written for the National Youth Choir of Wales in 2002 and A Chant for David which he wrote for the 2004 National Eisteddfod in Newport.
