Join us for the fourth in a series of seasonal offerings from Bragod, the musical performance duo made up of Welsh instrumentalist Robert Evans and Trinidadian singer Mary-Anne Roberts:

Bragod's extraordinary tonal world reveals the very roots of music. Using original instruments and sources, this unique duo explores Welsh medieval ceremonial music and poetry with experimentation and imagination. Leading expert on Welsh, medieval, bardic music, Robert Evans plays the European lyre and its descendant, the crwth. Mary-Anne Roberts sings audaciously while dancing the binary patterns of this mystical music: the universe made audible. They give acoustic recitals internationally, play ritual music for their local community, and have answered commissions to set modern poems.
