Casi Wyn joins Tŷ Cerdd team

We're delighted to announce that Casi Wyn has been appointed as Tŷ Cerdd's Communications & Projects Assistant. She will help shape the organisation's social media profile and also work on a range of projects including artist-development pathways and studio-based workshops.


Originally from Bangor and now based in Cardiff, Casi Wyn leads a multi-faceted career as a singer, composer, author and poet and held the role of Bard Plant Cymru (Wales’ Children and Youth Poet Laureate) from 2021-2023.

 

Casi studied drama at Queen Mary University, London and her screen credits include the TV series Porthpenwaig. She has also co-directed the short film Hunan Hyder, co-founded the magazine Codi Pais and recently launched her own record label.

 

​​Casi has performed at the SXSW Festival and at the BBC Proms in Swansea with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and has released records with the I Ka Ching labels and more recently under the name Casi and Casi & The Blind Harpist with Chess Club Records and Roc Nation.


​Casi’s debut album Plentyn yr Haul is out now - released on Codi Pais Records.
