JOB: Programme Manager - Open RWCMD 19.10.26
Open RWCMD brings together the College’s public performance programme, community engagement, External Hire and youth-focused initiatives to provide opportunities for people across Wales to experience and develop pathways in music, drama, and production arts. This exciting new role aims to connect and share Open RWCMD across North Wales communities.
The Programme Manager will support a proactive engagement strategy in a systematic approach to deepening the impact and profile of the College. Line managed by the Director of Open RWCMD, you will support key areas, in partnership with North Wales communities:
Access, engagement and talent development for young people, supporting specific projects, programmes and talent pathways for young people.
Coordinating teachers and the workforce in North Wales, including teaching and facilitation placements for RWCMD students.
Supporting young professionals and RWCMD students with opportunities and curated pathways in both music and drama in North Wales
Assisting RWCMD North Wales recruitment, corporate profile, strategic engagement, alumni and events.
Supporting other RWCMD departments, to deliver the College’s vision and strategy through interactive opportunities.
The North Wales RWCMD Programme Manager reports to the Director of Open RWCMD. The role encompasses the North Wales region, coordinating a wide range of engagement activity, working across every aspect of the College’s interface with North Wales arts organisations and venues, Music Service providers, potential students, families, community groups, schools, colleges, audience members, partner organisations and decision makers. You will act as a regional ambassador for RWCMD and partner arts organisations, coordinating and helping to promote collective access to Music and Drama events and opportunities.
