Tŷ Cerdd announces new Lottery funding for Traditional Music

This autumn, Tŷ Cerdd is kicking off a brand new strand of activity in Traditional Music - with support from ACW, in response to their recent Traditional Music Review. 

Alongside the appointment of Jordan Price Williams in the new role of Traditional Music Development Manager, additional funds are being allocated in our remaining 2025/26 Lottery rounds,  specially for traditional music - of ALL kinds.

The final two deadlines of the period are Wednesday 15 October 2025 and Wednesday 21 January 2026. See the information on the grants here, and apply under the existing Create, Engage or Inspire pots.

We want to support the broadest range of communities, artists and traditions with this additional resource, to celebrate the diversity of music traditions here in Wales - so do spread the word. 

And the big news is that the added investment heralds a brand new pot of £200k, dedicated to traditional music, to be launched in spring 2026. Keep an eye on our website and socials for news of that development.
