CoDI Grange

CoDI Grange has commissioned six sound artists / composers / music creators from across a range of genres to create music and sound installations for the multi-faith chapel space in the new Grange University Hospital at Llanfrechfa. The multi-faith chapel, together with the sound installations is due to open in spring 2021.

Award-winning Welsh composer/sound artist Jo Thomas will compose her own work for the space, and will work with Tŷ Cerdd to provide artistic and technical leadership to the five participating artists (selected through open call). Each of the five artists will work with a community music group in one of the Health Board’s local authorities (Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen, South Powys) during the process of creating their piece.

Work delivery: December 2020
