FUNDING: The Snowdon Award Scheme

This Scheme provides grants to physically disabled students for further or higher education, or training towards employment at a college or university within the UK. Students should normally be aged between 17 and 25 years of age, however mature students may apply, subject to availability of funds. Awards range between £250 and £2,000 per annum (£2,500 in exceptional circumstances) and are granted for the additional costs of study arising from a disability, such as notetakers, communicators, computers, wheelchairs, transport and adapted accommodation.
